  1. Will you be picking any of these up? Let us know in the comments. I could be swayed by The Good Life if it's anything like Deadly Premonition. It sounded very much like it by the description but it wasn't until after making the video that I saw it was also created by SWERY. Fingers crossed!

    Happy gaming!

  2. Wanted to add a comment that if yall are going to review Monster Crown, possibly wait another week or so. There are some issues already but developers have said a patch should be out by the end of the week or early next week fixing them.

  3. Metroid Dread seems the one to buy, but I bought Tetris Connected, and man is that game an experience or what.

Highly recommended to anyone who likes these sort of puzzle games. The soundtrack and the team battle in the game is awesome.

  4. Really hoping that the Disco Elysium port stacks up, as I’d love to double dip on Switch. I have the game on PS5, but just can’t find the time to play it. An hour or two a day on Switch would be perfect!

  5. Lumione has been on my radar for a while. Excited for what I hope will be a poor man's Celeste (which, given how good Celeste is, could still mean it ends up as a lovely game!).

  6. Isn't Aeon Must Die the game where the devs left or something and some other company is releasing this unfinished game?
They released a trailer since time ago during E3 or something and the devs had to come out immediately and say the game being shown was never finished.

  7. I have always wanted to play Disco Elysium, despite having it on PC, I am always travelling so I don't have the time. I just love the art style and the that style of gameplay and storytelling. Gives me New Vegas vibes in a way.

  8. I was thinking on skipping The Good Life and then I read "…same director as Deadly Premonition". It is now awaiting happily on my Switch's Wishlist! I would say it is going to be a day 1 purchase! ??

  9. I've got a question for you all. I am looking for a game where you don't necessarily control all the characters but you just give them orders (something like Final Fantasy XII Zodiac Age). I've already played FF XII and Dragons Dogma and I am looking for more games with systems similar to those which are present in the games I've mentioned 🙂

  10. if only Astria ascending is $30 i'd definitely recommend it. Had alot of fun although story is abit slow poke and really bad written at the beginning the mid game is decent and the team building and combat are really fun but it's not for everyone's cup of tea.

  11. I'm confused how they priced Monster Crown. It's a Kickstarter sponsored game. Unless there are hundreds of hours of gameplay in that game or something that revolutionizes the monster-taming-dueling genre, that price is a crime.

  13. Evil Tonight looks very interesting and being a survival horror fan I'm already reeled in. Never heard anything about it. Very silly to think having a map is some form of hand holding as most classic survival horror games have maps with little to no arrow pointing or what have you. Gonna research this one and pick it up more than likely

  14. I was just curious how you pick what you are going to highlight from the new games of the week. I was surprised a few weeks ago when Arcade Classics Pac-Man and Arcade Classics Xevious came on the store.

  15. Got Monster Crown on pre order but physical , love me some Pokémon ripoff , but that evil tonight … I'm buying that one as a resident evil fan.

  16. I’m very curious to see how Disco Elysium runs on the switch. I’m also looking forward to Evil Tonight! I wasn’t aware of that title but that’s exactly why I love this channel so much for news and reviews!

  17. Been following Monster Crown for a bit on steam and happy to see it on switch. I love monster catching games, so I'll always check out a new one if it looks fleshed out. Pokemon and Dragon Quest Monsters are classics for sure, and love Jade Cacoon and Digimon games as well.
