  1. Budgets may be tight around this year, so I thought I'd put together this list of the best looking cheap games under $5. After trawling through the entire Switch catalogue, here are the ones I came up with. Did I miss any? Let us know! Here're some timestamps:
    Games under $5
    0:36 Super Punch Patrol
    0:59 Gunman Clive Collection HD
    01:21 Kamiko
    01:48 They Breathe
    02:06 Doom Games
    02:44 Goblin Sword
    03:02 Toki Tori
    03:26 Downwell
    03:49 Pan Pan
    04:09 Lydia
    04:38 Adventures of Elena Temple
    05:10 Refunct
    05:30 Akane
    05:53 Hexologic
    06:14 One Strike
    06:44 Sky Peace
    07:03 Earth Wars
    07:22 Dragon Quest I

  2. Zero Zero Zero Zero (yes, that's the title) is a great addition to your catalogue if you're looking for a simplistic, yet challenging 2D old school platformer, that looks designed for the mythical ZX81.

  3. Games on this list that I own and can recommend: Gunman Clive Collection, Kamiko, 90s Doom games, Toki Tori, Downwell, Lydia, Akane, One Strike and Earth Wars. Super Punch Patrol, They Breathe, Goblin Sword and Sky Peace look solid too. Thanks again for another awesome vid, guys.

Edit: Forgot to add some of my favorites under $5 that aren't featured in this. High Noon Revolver, Phantaruk, Gunpowder On The Teeth, Mushroom Quest, Grood, Run The Fan, Swarmriders and the Ubermosh series.

  4. Great video! Gunman Clive is really good and my favorite Dragon Quest is the first one (which was Dragon Warrior on the NES in the U.S.). I put a lot of hours into that game when I was 9.

  5. You know how the modern "Alien" films have massive budgets, crazy special effects and "oh it's 'im" casting?
But they're not as good as the 1979 original….
    Doom Doom Doom!
If the Switch ONLY played the old Doom games I'd still want one. Like the Mario35 Game&Watch.
    Nostalgia goggles included!
Cheers for the vid J x

  6. Hice list. I would add "Darkest Hunters" To the list wich is a gem matching RPG, it's very interesting and very long, it can be repetitive but and there are some bugs but if you like the genre won't be a problem. I played it for more than 40 hours.
